Upgrading
The Troy network shared drive (usually T:\) contains a TroyVisionPrograms folder. This holds the latest version of the software, together with the installation routine (Troy_Copy.exe) and the configuration file (Troy_ODBC.xml).
When you log in to Troy Vision, the program automatically checks if there is a newer version available.
Click ‘Yes’ and the upgrade program will run.
Installation
If you have the earlier Troy Enterprise or TroyInABox software installed on this PC, simply run Troy_Copy.exe from the folder referred to above and click ‘Install’. The configuration file will be automatically populated, and the Troy Vision software will be installed to the default folder on this PC.
If you wish to install the software to a different folder, click ‘Click to Change’ and select the new location.
If this PC has never run the older software, then use Notepad to edit the Troy_ODBC.xml file.
If you do not have all of the required values available, please contact your IT department or Troy support. Be sure to only enter values between the > and < brackets.
