Completion Percentage
For candidates, companies, jobs and contracts it is now possible to choose up to 16 fields that should be entered in order to consider the item ‘complete’. This ‘completion percentage’ is then displayed in the format of a progress bar (fig. 1) within the item’s detail window alongside the status.
Figure 1, Completion percentage bar
The percentage complete is built up from a weighting configured against the field, allowing the more important fields (email address for example) to have a higher weighting. The percentage is shown within the bar and if you click upon it a breakdown of the fields entered and missing is displayed, as shown in fig.2.
Figure 2, Completion field breakdown
As you can see from the example in fig. 2 the candidate is yet to have their email address and words per minute fields filled in.
The configuration of the fields is done via the completion rules section of the creation settings window found within system settings as shown in fig. 3. Simply choose the division (picking all divisions will configure the rules for all divisions), the item type and click on the Pick Fields button. You can choose from the fields listed within each of the drop boxes and choose a weighting or score, ensuring that the total is equal to 100. If you no longer require the completion rules click the reset button. Once 100% has been reached, click the Save button.
The fields available will be determined by the item type selected and for jobs you are able to set completion rules up for whether candidates have been added to a list, submitted or interviewed allowing a quick indication of how far a job has progressed.
