There is a feature within Troy called the ‘Candidate Summary’ that will enable you to create a write up / summary which can accompany a candidate’s CV within a CV send out email. The summary can be tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements, allowing an immediate impression to be made without the client having to open the CV.
To enable this feature (which is switched off by default), open up the system settings window which can be found within the Options / System Settings menu and then click upon the People tab. On the right hand side of this window you will find a ‘Candidate Summary’ button. Click this to configure.
You then have the choice of setting the Candidate Summary to be the contents on the candidate’s Notes tab, or the most recent history record against that candidate with a subject as specified:
This can then be merged into a Send Out email template:
Note that by enclosing text in HTML tags (as above), you can achieve effects such as:
Bold <b> </b>
Underline <u> </u>
Italic <i> </i>
You MUST send the email using the new email client as shown below, and / or by using an HTML style sheet.
